Carolyn (Caro) Zeller was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was raised in Colombia, Argentina, Puerto Rico and the United States. She became captivated by the magic of theatre, dance and opera from the tender age of three, while attending a performance at the famed Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. She participated in numerous musical and theatrical performances. Carolyn chose to continue studying her craft. She attended Florida International University (FIU) for her BFA in Theatre. While at FIU, she performed in various productions including Cabaret, The Taming of the Shrew and Inspecting Carol, where she recieved a nomination for the Irene Ryan Award as Mary Jane McMann. Upon graduation from FIU, she was accepted into the Inaugural Masters Program in Acting at the University of Southern California (USC) as one of ten students chosen nationwide. Performances at USC included The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Caucasian Chalk Circle, among others. She recieved her MFA in Acting in May, 2009. Carolyn continues to be active in theatre in Los Angeles and is now performing in the National Tour of Portraits of Courage: Latinos Shaping a Nation and the National Tour of The New Faces of America. She also loves painting, watersports and travelling. |
